How NodeX Works

NodeX is a layered IoT architecture — wireless sensor nodes at the edge communicate through a mesh network to a local gateway, which relays data to the cloud for visualization, alerting, and control.

LAYER 01

Sensor Nodes

Battery-powered or solar wireless devices equipped with sensors, actuators, and configurable I/O. Deployed in the field.

LAYER 02

Mesh Network

Nodes form a self-healing wireless mesh — each node can relay data from its neighbours, extending range without infrastructure.

LAYER 03

IoT Gateway

The gateway aggregates node data and transmits over WiFi, Cellular (LTE), or LoRaWAN backhaul to cloud or local servers.

LAYER 04

Cloud Platform

Online dashboard with real-time data visualization, configurable alerts, remote device control, and API access.

NodeX Device Family

Each NodeX device is purpose-engineered for its role in the network — with hardware and firmware configurable to meet specific application requirements.

// NX-SENSE

Sensor Node

A compact, low-power wireless field device for environmental and physical sensing. Deployable as standalone or mesh node with configurable sensor interfaces.

  • Multi-protocol radio: LoRa, 868/915 MHz, 2.4 GHz
  • Analog, digital & serial sensor interfaces (I²C, SPI, UART, RS-485)
  • Ultra low-power sleep modes, solar-ready
  • IP-rated enclosure options for outdoor deployment
  • Configurable sampling rate and transmission interval
// NX-GATE

Gateway Node

The network backbone — aggregates data from up to hundreds of sensor nodes and forwards to cloud or local server via multiple backhaul options.

  • Simultaneous LoRa mesh + LTE cellular backhaul
  • WiFi 802.11 b/g/n AP and client modes
  • MQTT, HTTP, and REST API data push
  • Local SD card data logging (offline resilience)
  • DIN rail or wall-mount installation
// NX-CTRL

Control Node

A wireless controller node with relay and digital outputs for actuating remote equipment — pumps, valves, alarms, lighting, and access control.

  • Bistable relay outputs (configurable 12–240 V)
  • Digital and PWM output channels
  • Remote command via cloud or peer-to-peer mesh
  • Local rule engine for offline autonomous control
  • Supports RS-485 / Modbus RTU peripheral control

Multi-Protocol Connectivity

NodeX supports a range of wireless protocols — selected or combined based on range, power budget, bandwidth, and infrastructure availability.

📡

LoRa / LoRaWAN

Long-range, ultra-low-power radio. Ideal for remote rural, agricultural, and off-grid deployments up to 15 km line-of-sight.

Up to 15 km
📶

WiFi 802.11

High-bandwidth indoor and short-range outdoor connectivity for data-intensive sensors and dashboard-connected devices.

Up to 100 m
🗼

LTE Cellular

LTE Cat-M and NB-IoT backhaul for gateway nodes in areas with mobile coverage — enables truly standalone deployments.

Nationwide
🔗

Mesh Networking

Self-healing peer-to-peer mesh topology: nodes relay each other's traffic, extending coverage without additional infrastructure.

Self-Healing

Built for Real-World
Deployment

NodeX is engineered for reliability in demanding environments — remote sites, industrial facilities, and outdoor installations where connectivity and power are not guaranteed.

01

Fully Customizable

Every hardware and firmware parameter is configurable — from sensor type and sample rate to radio protocol and cloud endpoint. Built to your spec.

02

Off-Grid Ready

Solar charging, battery management, and duty-cycle optimization allow indefinite deployment without mains power.

03

Cloud + Local Operation

Nodes can operate autonomously with local logic — continuing to function when cloud connectivity is unavailable, syncing when restored.

04

Scalable Architecture

A single NodeX deployment can range from a handful of nodes to hundreds of distributed devices — all managed from one platform.

05

Secure by Design

AES-128 encrypted radio payloads, secure device authentication, and encrypted cloud API communications.
